What is B2B?

B2B stands for Business to Business.

B2B is a term used in marketing and sales, referring to an activity of selling products and services to other businesses.

This type of sale can be defined as any business transaction that involves a purchase of goods or services from one company for use by another company.

There is no general public or consumer involvement. 

Examples

1. If a company sourcing raw material is selling it to a manufacturing company. The sale between raw material sourcing company & the manufacturing company is B2B.
2. A vendor selling office supplies directly to large corporations such as hotels, restaurants, car dealerships etc.
