What's Inside

    What is C-Level / C-Suite?

The C-Level/C-Suite is the group of executives who make up an organization's senior management, or "corporate suite."

The term C-Suite comes from a misspelling on the card with columns and boxes that used to be in business offices.

It was originally written as CEO/CXO, but evolved into what it means today.

The C-level jobs of these high level managers are called so because their titles usually begin with the letter C eg, Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Some C-level executives are chief executive officer (CEO), chief operating officer (COO), chief financial officer (CFO), and chief information officer (CIO).
