What's Inside

Who is SDR (Sales Development Representative)?

Sales development representatives (SDR's) are often the first to speak with prospective customers, and their primary responsibility is to build relationships.

They typically set appointments for other sales reps or account executives who then close deals.

Sales development representatives commonly use techniques such as cold calling, emails, social media messages, instant messaging or chats in order to contact prospects and get them on a phone call so they can introduce themselves personally.

    Goals of SDR

Their goals might be different depending on whether they’re working inside of an organization (e.g., at company headquarters) or outside its walls (e.g., from home).

In either case, however, most have similar responsibilities: building rapport and trust before attempting to make a sale by presenting key product benefits
