Sales Director is an executive, usually responsible for a company’s national or regional sales force.
Sales Directors are the top-level management in charge of selling products and services to customers on behalf of a business enterprise.
They typically have direct responsibility for managing all areas of sales within their designated area (e.g., international, domestic).
A person with this title works with other executives at senior levels of management such as marketing managers and finance professionals; they also report to the chief operating officer (COO) or president.
